Some smaller issues fixed before taking some sleep…

hp_schrift_features

  • Changes:
    • Increased the buy price for nutrients.
    • Increased the loot drop amount of nutrients.
    • The death screen now actually tells, if items were dropped or not.
    • Loot items are now un-reserved if dragged or taken into inventory by the player they were reserved for.
    • Products of item disassembly also go into the inventory now (if there is enough space).
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed a rare server crash when crafting items.
    • Fixed standing enemies, like Goblin Archers, teleporting back to their spawner while in combat.
    • Fixed a client crash when resizing an estate.

Much fixing crashes in the last few days. But finally, new features and changes! Oh yeah, and 400 new accounts…

  • What’s New:
    • News System – get update news ingame.
    • New Premium Features! See below.
  • Changes:
    • Reduced combat delay. So players don’t have to wait as long to swap weapons.
    • Slightly decreased the damage bonus of low-tier ammo.
    • Substantially increased aiming speed for low-tier ranged weapons.
    • Crafted items are now created in the inventory by default. They drop to the ground only when the inventory is full.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed server crash and deadlock issues.
    • Wasps should now also return to their spawner when stuck.
    • Fixed a client crash when a trade or friend request partner leaves the scene (e.g. by teleporting or moving too far away).
    • Fixed ranged combat – when not lagging, projectiles fired by players should hit NPCs correctly now.


hp_schrift_premium

  • Fast travel teleporters on Noob Island.
  • Bigger Inventory! 16 more slots that also function as safe slots. When being killed, items in these slots won’t drop.

Update

A new week! Some tweaking and bugfixing…

hp_schrift_features

  • Changes:
    • Nerfed the Salesperson and Customer skills.
    • NPCs are teleported back to their spawner after some time when they get stuck too far away.
    • Some consumables (like food) are now under one cooldown group, so players can’t eat certain consumables directly one after another.
    • Increased the hitpoints and stamina gained from some consumables.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed invisible projectiles.
    • Lights of off-screen projectiles are removed correctly.
    • Fixed client crash when having a dynamic object on the cursor in editor mode and teleporting.
    • Swarms now also attack when Wasps get killed in one hit.
    • Fixed the amount of resources required to repair items.

That is one mean Swamp Troll!

  • What’s New:
    • Stronger (mini-)bosses and more NPC abilities.
    • NPCs drop souls in 8 different colors and sizes. (What can be done with them the next updates will reveal…)
  • Changes:
    • Reduced stamina regeneration, but bottom-capped it, so newbies aren’t penalized.
    • Tweaked crafting modifiers; existing items with +x modifiers may have been converted automatically.
    • Ghosts can’t be knocked back anymore.
    • Improved the Ghost Captain‘s buffs and debuffs.
    • Wasps now defend their swarm.
    • Fierce Wasps now shoot poisoning stingers.
    • The Swamp Troll now shoots volleys of rocks, has more hitpoint and stomps more often.
    • More and exclusive loot for (mini-)bosses; defeating them pays off!.
    • The game client is muted on window focus loss.
    • Some NPCs now drop gear (weapons, armors, …).
    • Goblin Net changed to a ranged attack that players can actually dodge.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed taking items from the vicinity with Q.
    • Hitting enemies that have high enough knockback resistance doesn’t knock them back anymore.
    • Fixed some NPC targeting issues.
    • Fixed sheep going on a hike…

Oh no, they’re shooting back!

  • What’s New:
    • Players can now change the size of their estates.
    • Ranged combat for NPCs – The Swamp Troll now throws stones and there are Goblin Archers!
  • Changes:
    • NPCs do more damage, depending on the level difference, if the player’s level is higher; So they pose a certain challenge later on as well.
    • Changed the troll stomp – players now get a better hint on where the troll will strike.
    • Temporarily removed slow down magic from NPCs due to synchronization issues and the resulting lag.
    • Changed the Goblin Net spell to stamina reduction instead of slow-down
      Hint: there are consumables that give back some stamina.
    • Increased the powers of Goblin Shamans (stronger goblin buff spells, Weaken and Harm debuffs).
    • Small change in NPC behaviour: aggressive monsters won’t instantly turn away, when their target goes behind collision.
    • Slightly increased the accuracy of some (especially low-level) ranged weapons.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Repair was possible even if the item was at maximum condition.


hp_schrift_premium

  • Access Ethereal Storage via button while on your own ground (estate or worlds).
  • Nutrients are being recognized in your Ethereal Storage, so they don’t have to reside in your inventory for feeding plants.
  • Crafting resources are being recognized in your Ethereal Storage, so they don’t have to reside in you inventory for crafting.
  • Optional automatic plant feeding with nutrients from your Ethereal Storage.
