TigerlimePlayerI was wondering about this since a while. The Skill description says “Increases max repair condition for melee weapons by X%”.
At first I thought the conditions for repairing a weapon would increase, costing more resources. But that would be kinda stupid, because you shouldn’t skill it to the max then.
Then I thought that it actually reduces the cost of repairing weapons. So I made a test to see if that’s the case. Looked at the repair costs then skilled it and looked again. But no change (maybe it wasn’t enough to have effected a change).
And then I was thinking that you can’t fully repair a weapon and only to a certain condition. But so far all weapons have be fully repaired. I’ve also thought that if a weapon has a lot of condition, there would be a limit up to where it’s repaired, but I’m always exceeding that limit and only a higher tier weapon would reach that limit.
Point is, I don’t know what that Skill does. lol

RammyOwnerAt the moment, the skills Melee Weapon Smith and Armor Smith are, lets say, not fully activated.
If you don’t have them, you can only repair a corresponding item to 60% of its max condition. And of course, you can only repair if the condition is below that value. Those skills raise this value.
What should work atm: that you can only repair an item if its condition is below your allowed max repair condition.
What shouldn’t: that the item is only repaired to this value. Right now, items are always being repaired to full condition. Those skills will be fully activated, when there are enough players (so there’s variety and one can ask another, specialised players, to repair stuff) and when there are other means of repairing items fully, but with additional loss.

TigerlimePlayerI see, that explains it. With all the AMD thing going on, I forgot to check this reply. lol
So it was the 3rd thing I mentioned. It doesn’t fully repair the equipment. If the skill was activated that is. So I will ignore that skill for now. I hoped it would reduce the repair cost. 😛
Thanks for the info.
