In-game pixel art editor

So I’ve read that game will allow for uploading of custom graphics in the future and this got me an idea. What if you won’t have to use external software and could draw stuff using in-game pixel art editor?

Of course for advanced players, upload option should remain, but if you want something quick, you could use in-game tool.

And the best part is that you could re-use code that you’re using for building with ground tiles. After all, pixels are just like tiles, but filled with whole color.
