OwnerWelcome and thank you!
Although there is way less time now in my life, I will keep working on it. (-:
Glad you like it!Rammy
OwnerHi, sorry for not responding!
The answer is in the latest news entry.Rammy
OwnerHey you and welcome!
Thanks for the kind words! Posts like these really give a lot of motivation and I’ll try to free some more time to develop Gardens of Gonzo further.
Ich bleibe dran. 😉
Seeya!Rammy
OwnerThat should be possible.
I’ll see what I can do about that. Right now, as you might have noticed, development has slowed down due to the fact that I have a full time day job now. Additionally, the code base is under a major overhaul right now, which should bring a lot of performance and reduce errors (e.g. wrong behaviour of NPCs, predictions) significantly.Rammy
OwnerThere already was a server wipe, when very fundamental game changes took place. In any case player structures will not be removed.
About the art: one fundamental aspect of the game is that players can introduce their very own graphics (and sounds, by the way). So you may see art styles never seen before on certain estates/worlds.

OwnerI moved as well and have a job in “the industry” now. 😉 I’ll keep working on Gonzo nonetheless!

OwnerHi Tigerlime,
are you sure, you’ve set up your PC correctly? Installed all drivers and such? Because I tried the installer on a random PC here at work and it just worked.
The .rar-file naturally doesn’t install the Visual Studio Redistributables – that’s what the installer is for. And none of them installs OpenGL, but rather OpenAL. 😉

OwnerGreat feedback, thanks a lot!
Detailed observations about some bugs and false behaviours, too. Many of your suggestions are already planned features, but there were some good ideas as well, that we might incorporate. Just give us some more time and it’ll be great.Rammy
OwnerA very good idea indeed. I’ll see about that.

OwnerOf course! The more system resources there are, the better.
We will take graphic resource suggestions into consideration, but because of legal reasons we have to check the author, source and license ourselves to decide if we can use them. Resource uploads are now active for premium players – so if you want to stand out (which will become more and more important), upload your graphics to your account. That way only you can use them and the legal issue should be solved, as you have to accept our Resource Upload Agreement beforehand.
However, if you really want to contribute I suggest you make an account on OpenGameArt.org or DeviantArt and submit your art there under a license you see fit; or if you have your own homepage, you could put it there with a short text that explains the rights of usage for third parties. That way we can always link to that source and credit you appropriately.

OwnerPretty accurate answer from Tigerlime (one of the most experienced players).
One addition: dynamic objects (items) are not removed when deleting an estate. Fixed items will be un-fixed though.Oh and if you’re lucky and find an Iron Key in enemy loot (everything but chickens and sheep), search for Small Mystery Chests in the forests of Noob Island (or on the goblin plain; but they’re pretty hard in the beginning). Those contain a fair amount of valuables that you can then sell.
Rammy
OwnerThat’s a great suggestion; thanks for the heads up. I will look into additional payment methods besides PayPal.
Rammy
OwnerDone. Textbox input should be fixed. Your client should update to the latest version right after the start.
Rammy
OwnerOh yes, that is a problem! I’m on it. This will be hot-fixed asap.
