Update

Good morning (for those in Europe)!

I just issued another update for server and client. The update contains:

  • An in-game chat log.
  • A statistics section where top ten players in certain areas are listed. This feature will constantly be expanded by adding more listing areas and statistics. Also, supporting donators are eternalized here.
  • A few minor fixes and changes.

More work to do, but first thing’s first: getting some sleep.

You can not only slay enemies in this game. You can also build!

Everything you see in-game was built using the toolbox, a feature that you can use as well! Go to The Playne, get yourself an estate and start building! If you don’t know how, refer to the construction guide on this site.

New object type – Destructibles

A new object type has been introduced with the latest update: destructible objects.
What is an oldschool MMORPG without the ability to cut bushes and high grass? Now this feature comes to Gonzo!

Hit them with your weapon to destroy them. Some destructibles will grant loot, like the berry bushes. Some may only obstruct your way. However, destroying destructibles will grant pixels of the respective color.
Be aware that there may be destructibles you can’t destroy if your weapon is too weak.

Also worth mentioning: the server ran since 9am today without a crash.

Client update

Just updated the game client to v0.0.8.66.
Some nasty bugs that led to client crashes should be gone.

Also, we’ve noticed that the first player structures arose in The Playne.
